Justin Koscher, President

Justin Koscher serves as President of PIMA. In this role, Justin is the principle staff member for the Board of Directors and Steering Committee. His responsibilities include the implementation of the Association’s Strategic Vision, management of finances and administration, and supervision of various PIMA Work Groups. Justin joined PIMA in January 2017. He previously served as a director at the American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry. Justin obtained his B.A. from Illinois Wesleyan University and J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

Renée LaMura, Sr. Director Programs & Administration

Renée La Mura, CAE, serves as the Senior Director of Programs & Administration for PIMA. In this role, Renée manages PIMA’s member and leadership meetings, educational programs, and membership relations as well as certain administrative functions. She is the staff liaison to both the PIMA Emerging Leaders Group and PIMA Education Work Group. Renée joined PIMA as a full-time staff member in March 2006. She obtained her B.A. from Rutgers University and obtained her Certified Associate Executive Designation (CAE) in December 2013.

Marcin Pazera, Sr. Director Technical Affairs

Marcin Pazera, PhD, serves as the Senior Director of Technical Affairs of PIMA. In this role, Marcin coordinates technical-related activities for the polyiso industry, serves as the primary technical liaison to other industry associations, and leads the PIMA Codes, Product Standards and QualityMark Work Groups. He joined PIMA in November 2017. Marcin holds a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University and, over the course of his career, has worked in building science with a focus on evaluating energy and moisture performance of building materials and building enclosure systems. His experience includes work in building enclosure consulting and product manufacturing encompassed-research, testing, product conception and development, computer modeling/analysis as well as technical support.

Michael Rhodes, Manager Technical Advocacy

Michael Rhodes, PE, serves as the Manager of Technical Advocacy for PIMA. In this role, Michael leverages his extensive experience in building science and engineering to advocate for energy-efficient building practices and policies. Michael joined PIMA in December 2024. Michael's career spans over two decades, during which he has held various positions in building science and engineering. Most recently, he worked as a Research & Building Science Engineer where he was actively involved in the building codes community, provided education on building sciences and the installation of polyiso, and was heavily involved in polyiso R&D projects. Michael holds a Master of Science in Building Energy Design from Aalborg University in Denmark.

Lucy Kucmierz, Manager, Member & Industry Engagement

Lucy Kucmierz serves as the Manager of Member & Industry Engagement for PIMA. In this role, Lucy provides operational and administrative support to PIMA members and staff. Lucy joined PIMA in September 2022. She received her B.S. in Education from SUNY Fredonia and obtained her Certification in Non-Profit Management in 2012.
